Jute is a 100% recyclable material that decomposes back into nature. The jute of our products comes from India, where its cultivation provides a livelihood for local farmers. The jute rearing and production processes are very environmentally friendly. Jute heals the soil and produces oxygen in the air. In the cultivation of jute, fresh water is not wasted, but tropical rainfall is utilized, so the jute leaves a small water footprint. It stores carbon, so it also has a small carbon footprint.
